Last night, following Christ’s entrance into Jerusalem, we had the first evening Bridegroom service.

As the chanters chanted, “Behold, the Bridegroom…”, Father came out carrying the icon of Christ as Bridegroom.

There was a procession around the Church, led only by two candles – the Icon of Christ was placed in the middle of the solea, where it remains until Holy Thursday.
