Our first cooking trial on Friday, 4 September was a huge success. With the wonderful help of our volunteers, we prepared over 450 meals, which were packed and delivered to people in need in the city.

Thank you very much to everyone who came along and helped with cooking, preparing, packing and organising the meals. It was a very encouraging beginning for St Timothy’s and gave us a great opportunity to learn how we can continue developing the program.

Orthodox Youth Day – Monday, 28 September

A reminder also that the Orthodox Youth Day in collaboration with St Timothy’s will be held at the Church of Saints Constantine and Helene in Northbridge on Monday, 28 September, the public holiday Monday.

All of our St Timothy’s volunteers are warmly invited to come along and be part of the day. It will be a wonderful opportunity to involve our children and young people in the work of St Timothy’s, preparing food and care packs for those in need in our community.

Next Friday Session – 2 October

Our next Friday cooking session for the city feeding program will be held on Friday, 2 October. We will send further details and volunteer arrangements closer to the date via our social media pages.

Thank you again to everyone for your enthusiasm, generosity and willingness to be involved. It was wonderful to see what we were able to achieve together during our first trial, and we look forward to continuing this important work through St Timothy’s.
