Father Jeremy Davis Visits Our Parish

Today, His All Holiness, Bartholomew, Archbishop of Constantinople, New Rome and Ecumenical Patriarch, was in Sydney for a Patriarchal Visit. Father Emmanuel had flown over for this special welcoming and so wasn’t able to be with us.

Instead, we were very blessed to have Rt. Rev. Archimandrite Jeremy Davis.

Father Jeremy is the Archiepiscopal Vicar for the Diocese of Toledo and the Midwest, of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America.

At the end of the service everyone came forward to receive antidoron and a blessing from Father Jeremy. They then also received a blessing from Father Theo with Holy Water from the Blessing of the Waters service.

On behalf of Father Emmanuel and the congregation, we’d like to give a big thanks to Father Jeremy for being with us, and look forward to his return again.
