It is with great joy that I announce to the Greek and wider community the names of the successful candidates of the Centre for the Greek Language (CGL) examinations of 2022 and the levels that they achieved.
The candidates, who are listed below, sat for the CGL examinations in May of 2022 and were awarded their Certificate of Attainment in Greek later in the year.

I had the pleasure of presenting Kalliopi Paila with her certificate on Saturday 29 October at the Centre for Hellenic Studies, WA (at St. Andrew’s Grammar), and in the presence of her teacher, Mrs Christina Panovrakou.
The remainder of the candidates were from the Greek Language and Culture Institute (GLCI) of Evangelismos, and their certificates were presented by me at the GLCI End-of-Year Celebration on Saturday 10 December, and in the presence of the Honourable Consul of Greece, Mrs Georgia Karasiotou, and the Principal of the GLCI, Dr Pol Koutsakis.
On behalf of the CGL Committee, I extend my congratulations once more to the successful candidates, their teachers, schools, and their families! I take this opportunity to thank Ms Maria Svarnou who invigilated the examinations with me, and who co-marked the oral component.
Next year’s CGL examinations will be held on the following dates:

Registrations will open on 1 February 2023 and will close on 20 March 2023. More information will be imparted closer to the opening date of registration.
