I am proud to share that our very own Dr. Angela Evangelinou-Yiannakis, University Professor, President of Western Australia Modern Greek Language Teachers Association, Greek Language and Culture Institute’s Vice Chair and Education & Leadership Consultant and Greek language expert has been nominated as a finalist in the Greek International Women Awards (GIWA) in the category of Education and Psychology.

Part of this recognition reflects her long-term and largely voluntary contribution and ongoing commitment to the maintenance, promotion and teaching of Modern Greek language in Western Australia, and we are so honoured and proud to have her offer her time and energy to this noble goal over the years.
