Fast of the Fifteen Days of August

Starting from Thursday, 1 August, we entered into the fast of the Fifteen Days of August. This fast is to prepare us for the feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos, which we commemorate on 15 August.

During this time, there will be a Supplicatory Canon to the Virgin Mary every day, except for Saturday, at 4pm, with the one on Sunday being in English.
