Sierra Leone Missionary Fundraiser – Saturday 22 October 2022

With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, we invite you all to support the vital missionary work of Bishop Themistocles (Themi) of Nikopolis in Sierra Leone with a fundraising dinner at our parish hall on Saturday 22 October 2022 at 7:30pm.

Donations towards to the fundraising dinner and towards the mission can be given on the night. EFT facilities will be available. No RSVP is required.

The dinner will be preceded by a Hierarchical Vespers service at the Church of Evangelismos, Presided by His Grace Bishop Themistocles of Nikopolis and in the presence of His Grace Bishop Elpidios of Kyanea at 6.30pm.

Bishop Themi was raised in Australia and in 1999 followed a missionary calling which took him to Africa. He commenced his work initially in Kenya and then in 2007 started his mission in Sierra Leone, one of the poorest countries in the world.

We ask for your support to help Bishop Themi’s work.
