Community spirits were high on Friday night at our annual Greek school quiz night which was held at our church hall.
This annual event is to raise money to support the running of our Evangelismos Community Greek Language school. The aim of the school is to preserve and pass on the Greek language,traditions and customs. Everyone enjoyed the company of their respective tables while sharing their collective knowledge in the quest to win some wonderful prizes on offer.
We had raffles, games and fresh loukoumades and hot chips for sale. We were entertained with unique renditions of Dry Bones, Happy Birthday and the Alphabet song.
All this could not be possible firstly without community support and of course the support of our sponsors and helpers.
