The Battle of Crete constitutes a unique and eternal bond between Australia and Greece, forged while fighting for a common cause during World War II. To honour and respect this bond and those who fought, the Battle of Crete Memorial Committee (WA) is seeking to erect a designated war memorial in Kings Park to recognise the sacrifices made by ANZACs and Greeks in the Battle of Crete campaign. Your support will be required. For further information about the Battle of Crete, the Memorial Committee and its objectives please visit our website: http://battleofcrete.org.au
The BCMC WA is a major project of the Greek Australian RSL and is supported by the WA State Government, the RSL WA, and various Greek associations.
