On Monday, 30 May 2022, our Parish Priest Fr Emmanuel Stamatiou was elevated to Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Throne.

The service was held at the Holy Monastery of Saint John and conferred upon by His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.

His Eminence also ordained Fr Makarios to the second level of priesthood, from Deacon to Priest.

We were truly blessed to see His Eminence’s again after these past two years of pandemic restrictions, and by the gifts that he brought us.
