Postponement of the 2021 CGL Examinations

To all prospective CGL Examination Candidates

Please note that the Centre for the Greek Language in Thessaloniki, Greece, has informed all centres around the world of the postponement of the May examinations due to the continuing effects of COVID-19.

The ongoing critical situation regarding the pandemic in Greece, and in many countries around the world, has necessitated a review of the dates for this year’s CGL Examinations. To this end, the new examination period will be in the first week of October 2021 (4-8 October). Furthermore, and as was the case in 2020, the examinations will take place over four days and not three to allow for social distancing measures, as needed.

As a result of this change in dates, there will also be a new registration period; that is, from 1 to 28 June 2021. The exact date and time for each CGL Examination Level will be announced in due course.
